Welding

Mid-City stocks a wide variety of carbon and nickel alloy welding filler materials for several processes in solid wire. Flux cored wire, stick and TIG, as well as metal core nickel and carbon. Nickel alloys include: 308, 309, 312, 316, 317, Inconel 625, alloy 2205, Alloy 418, C-276, AL6XN and Monel 400. Most all of the carbon wires are stocked at all times for all processes and material up to 110 KSI for high strength steels.

Mid-City has an array of back-up power sources and feeders to ensure that down time or field time do not interrupt shop production.

All welders are AWS/ASME certified in MIG and FCAW welding to unlimited thickness in carbon materials, 300 series stainless, 2205 duplex stainless and exotic alloys. Also, due to the nature of ASME codes processes are qualified per job as required.
